Refunds

No refunds — and what you get instead.

Version 2026-08-25 · applies to everything you buy or use on cruscy.com

Required reading before you pay, so nothing here is a surprise afterwards. It is strict, it says why, and it names the two places where you do have rights: Paddle's policy and consumer law.

1 · The policy in one box

Payments made in USDT are not refundable. A blockchain transfer cannot be reversed, the work starts the day it lands, and the month you paid for is people's time and machine time that has already been spent.

Card payments made through Paddle follow Paddle's Refund Policy: Paddle is the merchant of record and may, at its discretion, refund a transaction within 14 days. We do not overrule Paddle, and we do not pretend to.

Your statutory rights are unaffected. Where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund, you have it, whatever this page says.

2Why crypto payments are final

Three honest reasons, not one legal one:

  • The transfer cannot be reversed. Nobody — not us, not you, not an exchange — can pull back a confirmed TRC20 transaction.
  • The work is not inventory. When you pay, capacity is allocated: engineers' attention and a budget of AI change requests. Both are consumed as we go and cannot be put back on a shelf.
  • It is the norm for this market. Webflow refunds nothing on monthly or annual plans, and Squarespace refunds no monthly plan at all. We would rather say it up front than hide it behind a support queue.

3What we do instead

Refusing refunds only works if the thing you paid for is actually good, so:

  • We rebuild the first version until you sign it off. Not "one round of edits" — until it is right. That work does not consume your change requests.
  • We fix our own mistakes for free, always. Bugs, downtime, anything we broke: never counted, never billed.
  • You can stop after any month. No contract, no notice period, no exit fee, so the most you can lose on a bad month is one month.
  • You keep the code. Even if you leave angry, the site is yours — we hand over the repository and help you move it.
  • Nothing renews behind your back on crypto. There is no stored payment method and no automatic charge. You pay again only when you decide to.

4Cancelling

Write to [email protected], or simply do not renew. The period you already paid for runs to its last day — hosting, support and change requests all keep working. Unused days and unused change requests are not converted into money, and rolled-over requests expire with the account.

When card billing is live, cancelling in the customer portal stops the next renewal and keeps the current period.

5Card payments through Paddle

For card purchases, Paddle.com Market Limited is the seller of record. That means:

  • Your receipt and your invoice come from Paddle, and their Buyer Terms apply to the purchase.
  • Refund requests go to Paddle — through the link on your receipt — and are decided by Paddle, usually within a 14-day window and case by case.
  • We support the process: if Paddle asks us what happened, we tell them, including when we think a refund is fair.
  • If Paddle refunds a period, we stop the service for that period. It is one or the other, not both.

6Consumer withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, distance-selling law normally gives you 14 days to change your mind. For digital services that start immediately, that right ends once the service has been fully performed — and you consent to the immediate start when you tick the box at checkout, which is exactly what that box says.

In plain words: by asking us to start straight away, you give up the 14-day cooling-off period for the work that has already been done. If you would rather keep it, tell us before you pay and we will hold the start of the work for 14 days.

7What is never refunded

  • Change requests that have been used, and top-up packs that have been consumed.
  • Part-months and unused days after a cancellation.
  • Any period where the account was closed for breaking the Rules — the capacity was allocated and the time was spent.
  • Domain registration fees paid to a registrar on your behalf, once bought.
  • Third-party costs we paid for you at your request — stock photography, paid APIs, fonts.

8Chargebacks

If something is wrong, tell us — we answer within a working day and most disputes turn out to be a misunderstanding. Opening a chargeback instead suspends the account while the dispute runs, because we have to freeze the state that is being disputed. Chargebacks raised in bad faith, on a service that was delivered, end the account under §11 of the Terms.

9How to ask

Crypto payment: write to [email protected] with your invoice number and what went wrong. You will not get the money back, but you will get a person, a plan and the work redone — and if we genuinely could not deliver what was sold, we will say so and put credit on your account.

Card payment through Paddle: use the refund link on your Paddle receipt, or write to us and we will point you at it.
